Your experiences matter. Your voice matters. Your healing matters.
Individual therapy is an opportunity to explore your thoughts, emotions, experiences, and relationships in a safe and supportive environment. Whether you're working through a specific challenge or looking for a deeper understanding of yourself, our confidential sessions will be guided by your goals, your pace, and what feels most meaningful to you.
Together, we can explore patterns, develop practical coping strategies, strengthen emotional awareness, and work toward building a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
Some of the areas we may explore include:
Anxiety, depression and stress: Understanding anxious thoughts, managing overwhelming emotions, and developing healthier ways to navigate everyday stress.
Self-esteem and self-worth: Challenging self-criticism, building confidence, and developing a more supportive relationship with yourself.
Relationships and attachment: Exploring relationship patterns, communication, emotional needs, and the experiences that shape how you connect with others.
Emotional well-being: Understanding your emotions, strengthening emotional regulation, and developing healthier ways to respond to difficult experiences.
Identity and personal growth: Exploring identity, values, life experiences, and the many factors that influence how you see yourself and the world around you.
Life transitions and challenges: Navigating change, uncertainty, difficult decisions, and periods of personal or emotional adjustment.
Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all experience. Our work together will reflect who you are, what you've been through, and where you hope to go.
Evidence-based care. A deeply human approach.
I believe that meaningful therapy begins with a genuine therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, respect, and understanding.
My approach draws from several therapeutic modalities, including person-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, attachment-based therapy, emotion-focused therapy (EFT), and existential therapy.
Rather than relying on a single approach, I integrate different perspectives and techniques based on your individual needs, experiences, and therapeutic goals.
My practice is also grounded in trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, spiritually sensitive, strengths-based, and empowerment-focused care.
I recognize that our experiences do not exist in isolation. Culture, family, identity, relationships, social expectations, and lived experiences can all shape our mental health and the way we understand ourselves. You deserve therapy that acknowledges all of these dimensions of your life.
Most importantly, I see you as an active participant in your healing. I am here to support you as you discover your own strengths, build insight, and find a path forward that feels authentic to you.
Taking the First Step
You don't have to have it all figured out to begin.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating. You might be unsure of what to talk about, where to begin, or whether therapy is even right for you. And that's okay.
You don't need to have the perfect words or a clear understanding of what you're experiencing. Sometimes, simply recognizing that you'd like things to feel a little different is enough to begin.
If you're ready to explore what therapy could look like for you, I'd love to connect.
Your story matters. Your well-being matters. And you deserve a space where both are valued.
